Each piece begins as paper, cut and assembled by hand. Emily translates the finished collage into digital artwork for colorful prints.

Meet Emily.

Artist, master weaver
and maker.

Emily Coles is an artist, master weaver and maker based in St. Paul, Minnesota. In 2024, she began making colorful collages for her own home.

Her love of traditional crafts grew during a Fulbright experience in Bulgaria in 2012, where she learned traditional knitting. A weaving apprenticeship in Serbia followed in 2015, when she earned the distinction of master weaver.

Traditional craft and playful creativity meet in her paper compositions.
